The RHS-80 Chrome steel fluid / water filter housing can accomodate waft rates of 14 GPM and the utmost design working pressure is 300psi @ 200F. The unit is compatible with industry usual 2.5” x 20” cartridges. This housing can accomodate specialty cartridges for unique applications. The RHS-80 is an extremely rugged liquid filter housing made in the usA by Shelco Filters – Middletown, Ct. Chrome steel could be very corrosion resistant. It has sufficient amounts of chromium ( at minimum 16%) present in order that a passive film of chromium oxide forms which prevents further surface corrosion and blocks corrosion from spreading into the metal’s internal structure.
