This Hydronix SWC-45-2001 string wound filter is made of polypropylene fiber cord, has a particle retention size of 1 micron, and is used in a water filtration system. This filter has an out of doors diameter (OD) of 4.5″ and overall length of 20″. It is made of polypropylene fiber cord which will also be sterilized, has dimensional stability, and is resistance to most chemicals. Polypropylene filters are useful in residential and commercial applications for reducing scale particles, dirt, rust, sand and silt in water. This filter can withstand temperatures ranging from 40 to 165 degrees F. This string-wound filter is suitable to be used in water filtration systems including residential and commercial applications that use well and municipal water sources.
