It provides very good tasting water and ice and works to take away water contaminants, including cysts, particulates, lead, mercury, herbicides and pesticides. The outside casing is a robust white plastic cassette designed to be long lasting. The PureSource 2 Water Filter is compatible with Frigidaire refrigerators designed to work with the next water filters: WF2CB, SWF2CB, FC-one hundred, FC100 and NGFC 2000.
