Constructed of a shatter resistant, high affect strength non BPA co-polyester; the system comes complete with two Berkey Earth Ceramic Filters (9inch), a base and utilizes the contemporary technological advances. This system has a storage capacity of about 2.75 gallons and when in use it stands 26.5 in height with a diameter of 9. The system stands 21 when used without the base (included). Configured with two Berkey Earth Ceramic Filters (9inch) purification elements the system can filter ~.75 Gallons per hour. The Berkey Light system is designed to be used all the way through commute, outside activities and all the way through unexpected emergencies.
Berkey Light System includes; two Berkey Earth Ceramic Filters (9inch), BPA-free canisters & base, fabric lid, spigot and 2 hole plugs.
Filters up to 3/4 gallons per hour with a holding capacity of 2.75 gallons. The Berkey Light system can provide enough water for groups of up to 10 to 20 people.
Berkey Earth Filter Life approx. three years, then again filters will wish to be cleaned periodically with a soft toothbrush/scotch brite pad when drift rate slows.
Made from lightweight BPA-free poly material which is extremely durable. Light and durable, the see-through container makes it easier to resolve the amount of water in the upper container without the wish to have the water-view spigot
